YES Human Resources & Staffing Structure

Youth Empowerment Somalia (YES) maintains a lean, committed team organized into three categories to ensure efficiency, accountability, and strong community engagement:

1. Permanent Staff
   Full-time employees managing core operations, program implementation, financial oversight, and strategic planning.
2. Volunteer Staff
   Individuals contributing skills and time voluntarily to support projects, outreach, advocacy, and technical needs.
3. Community Participation Staff
   Part-time or project-based local members who promote community ownership, inclusion, and serve as liaisons with YES.

Current Team:
YES currently has 10 active staff across these categories, enabling a youth-led, community-driven, and cost-effective approach to expanding impact in marginalized and conflict-affected areas.
